The Secretary is a member of the OCIS Executive Council who is appointed by the Division Chair for a three year term. The primary responsibility of the Secretary is to maintain the OCIS Division's archival records.
This involves: Attending all Executive Council meeting (face-to-face and teleconferencing) and recording minutes Working with the Chief Information Office to maintain the current and archived records on the OCIS website Assisting the Division Chair in the preparation of the 5-year report
The Secretary is responsible for providing and maintaining the following information/documents in the OCIS website: | Item Description | Item Storage Location | Due Date | | Executive Committee Minute Meetings | About OCIS: Executive Committee | 2 weeks after any meeting | | Consititution | About OCIS: Governance | 2 weeks after any changes are approved | | Five Year Report (& any supporting materials) | About OCIS: Governance | When submitted to Academy | | Secretary Job Description | About OCIS: Job Descriptions | 2 weeks after the Annual Meeting | |
