Call for Nominations: best OCIS paper of 2008 (by April 24, 2009) PDF Print E-mail

Which paper, published in 2008, stands out as exemplary for you?  Which 2008 paper had a significant impact on your thinking?

Every year OCIS gives an award to the best published paper (co-)authored by a member of the OCIS community.  We are currently seeking nominations for the best OCIS paper published in 2008.

An extensive (but not comprehensive) list of papers published by OCIS members can be found on the OCIS website at http://ocis.aomonline.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=501&Itemid=30 .

Papers that have been published by OCIS members but are not on the list can certainly be nominated.  The list reflects a reasonable effort to identify papers published by OCIS members.  Not all possible journals could be
reviewed so we may have missed some papers.

Please consider nominating a paper.  (Self nominations will not be accepted.)  Send your nominations to me, Kate Stewart ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ), by April 24, 2009 with the following
information:

(1) The title and author(s) of the paper you wish to nominate, and
(2) A short paragraph stating why you think the paper should be considered for the OCIS Best Published Paper Award.

I look forward to hearing from you.
